“Hah, so is this what you see me as, Gil? A little boy?” Vincent asked as he spun around in the snow, arms spreading wide to catch the flakes of ice. A tiny smile played across his face as he turned around to face his elder, chuckling softly in glee at the confused look on Gilbert’s face.
“Summer Rains”
Commission for McCleeoooo, who wanted a 100-word drabble about Glen & Jack and little Gil and Vince as a family, pre-Sablier of course (who apparently knows I have a pictures folder called “Sablier OTFamily”). 166 words, sorry, I went over.

Sometimes, when the summer rains come, Vincent likes to remember.
A moment—
A picnic.
Gil, precious Gil, in his nice neat clothes, the ones he’d been so proud of, kneeling carefully on the blanket, taking immense care to pour the tea without spilling a drop.
Master Glen, accepting it with all the gravity of a sacred pledge—perfect, respectful, the master Gil deserves.
Master Jack, sprawled carelessly on the ground, his head pillowed by Glen’s thigh, sometimes on it, humming a familiar tune with his face turned towards the sun, tossing Vincent a little strawberry cake.
He’d shared it with Gil, both of them eating half, then splitting a second when Master Glen insisted. That night, the summer rains had come, and Master Jack had climbed up in the branches of the shade tree, stringing the blanket up for shelter so they didn’t have to leave.
Sometimes, the rain washes it all away, and he wants nothing more than to forget the moments in the sun.
This is an unusual video for me to watch! I’ve never seen a video with the adorable relationship between Gilbert, Vincent, Glen and Jack! It was so fluffy! I really look up to editors that don’t have to use NewBlueEffects or other complicated effects to make a video stand out from the crowd! I can’t really find the right words to describe this video so I’ll just say it was ‘very touching’. I love videos that explore family relationships. They’re so rare to find! ;)
